In 1999, award-winning filmmaker Lulu Keating reflected on her experience growing up as one of 11 children in a small Catholic community in Nova Scotia. Family photos, home movies and animation come together to follow their transition from childhood in the 40s and 50s to the close of the 20th century. In this journey from a small Catholic community to the world stage, the film ponders the questions--Can we, as adults, shed past experiences? Or do they shape our whole lives?
