Breathe

Breathe

(2026, 10 minutes)

As summer comes to an end, two young women spend time together by a lake, where the heat, landscape and quiet create space for an intimate encounter. Through their gestures, glances and connection with their surroundings, "Breathe" explores desire and closeness without relying on dialogue.

Director Clément Bompart’s filmmaking moves between fiction and documentary, with a focus on sensory experience, silence and the relationship between bodies and landscape. "Breathe" reflects this approach, allowing the natural environment and the characters’ physical presence to carry much of the story.
