This animated short film follows the journey of an egg named Dan, who dreams of hatching into a beautiful rooster like all the other eggs. As he struggles with feelings of anxiety and confusion, Dan embarks on a heartfelt exploration of identity—only to discover that he was never meant to become a rooster.

All frames were digitally hand-drawn in TVPaint and composed in Adobe Premiere during the production of this film. The music is an original, improvised piece by Chinese music therapist Liyuan Chen. Silent film.
