"Pressure Point" is a satirical documentary series exploring British Columbia’s environmental issues through fictional interviews with politicians and senior bureaucrats. A satirical look at the Trans Mountain pipeline review, public consultation and political spin surrounding Canada’s oil pipeline expansion.

Thirty-five interveners dropped out of the National Energy Board's review of the Trans Mountain Expansion Project on August 12, 2015. They complained that the hearing were unbalanced and biased and that their participation was only legitimizing a process that had a predetermined outcome. Many government departments in recent years have resorted to using surveys, usually with carefully worded questions, to support their predetermined goals going forward. This episode looks at how the hearing process and slanted surveys might intersect in a revealing interview with a minister speaking freely and offering up their jaded multiple choice view of anyone with concerns about oil pipeline expansion.
