In her search for a man, Stephanie discovers that in Dawson City the odds are good but the goods are odd.

Stephanie always knew the time would come when she would need a man to father her children. From her isolated northern cabin in the Yukon, she hitches up her dog team to fetch her man of choice. But on the frozen Yukon River, she is ambushed by the man who has chosen her.
