Sara Ross (aka Red Sara) discovered a passion for cycling as a young child. While studying under Jim Green at the University of British Columbia, she learned the value of community. She realized that developing community and living a simpler, low-carbon-footprint life could be intertwined with recycling, reducing food waste, valuing urban wildlife, and cycling. She wove all of these ideas and values together with a philosophy of inclusion to pull the community around her together. This is her story.
